West Side Creamery is not your average ice cream shop… we make small batches of delicious ice cream, by hand, in our Acton kitchen. However, what we are most proud of is the fact that we are known for our shop being filled with the most passionate, knowledgeable, and welcoming team that provides out-of-this-world service.

 

We are looking for self-starters who are friendly, outgoing, dedicated, and reliable. And, of course, those who have a love for ice cream!

Ice Cream Scooper / Cashier

 

Scooper Qualifications:

• 16 years or older

• Must be available to work 2-3 shifts per week, including weekends, holidays, and summers

• Must be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time and perform physically challenging tasks (e.g., lifting 3 ½ lb containers of ice cream, mopping floors, doing dishes, etc.)

 

Scooper Qualities:

• Must possess a cheerful demeanor and be able to interact in a positive manner with customers, fellow team members, and supervisors

• Provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced, high volume environment

• Respect for safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards

• Understand all ice cream offerings, able to describe flavors, including the difference between allergen and non-allergen offerings

• We are looking for fun-loving, energetic employees who can share the joy of ice cream with others
